The Mio Coffee Table certainly breaks with tradition, but many are not familiar with how to style something so unusually shaped. Round tables present a bit of a design challenge, but their uniqueness only makes for a more striking vignette. From nesting tables to sky-high florals, here are five fresh ways to coordinate your new Mio Coffee Table:

Decorate with Florals

Square or rectangular coffee tables give us plenty of surface area for knick-knacks, but a coffee table with a circular top presents a challenge. Stylist and Content Creator, Katherine Vo, gave us a peek into her private domain, and we could help but notice the arrangement of vases and candles on her marble living room table. By neatly mixing floral arrays and home accessories, she was able to curate a display that is impeccably chic.

Divide your Surface Top into Sections

The easiest way to arrange a circular table is to divide the facade into quadrants and parts. Interior designer, Angela Elliott used three to style her gorgeous acrylic table. A grouping of books topped with quirky home accents creates a visually appealing front that reflects her personality, a small glimpse into the life of the owner. Keeping these decorative items stacked on each other keeps the area looking clean.

Make a Table Cluster

With maximalism becoming increasingly popular in the design world, its only natural to want to use a coffee table as a display for all your favorite design interior accessories – sometimes getting carried away. If you find yourself running out of space, try grouping two tables to make a cluster of small tables to create one presentation. Even combining high-lo heights but keeping the lengths the same, form levels of the eyes. Use the higher stand for a tall vase and a stack of books to create balance.

Organize a Centerpiece

There’s always that one décor item that is your favorite, and you certainly want everyone to see it. An excellent way to highlight this item is turning it into a centerpiece, then using other home accessories that match to surround that item. The above image shows a beautiful flower arrangement that is surrounded by a well-ordered stack of books of similar heights so that they draw attention to the vase.
